Sector Breakdown is the mix of sectors included in a portfolio or fund consisting of investments in various sectors of the economy such as energy, industrials, consumer staples, financials, etc. The breakdown is expressed as a percentage of the total fund. Companies in the same sector usually have similar revenues and growth potentials.
