A pooled investment fund or collective investment, that enables investors to share in a pool of professionally managed investments such as stocks and bonds. A Unit Trust fund is set up under a trust deed, which makes each investor or unitholders beneficiaries under the trust.
To invest in a Unit Trust, an investor buys units (instead of shares) from the fund manager.
