Working capital Definition
It is the difference between current assets and current liabilities (excluding short-term debt). Used to evaluate the liquidity of a company and how well it is positioned to fund operations in the short-term using cash and other assets convertible to cash.
Working Capital = Current assets – Current Liabilities
