Obamanomics Definition
Obamanomics is a buzzword created from the name of US president Barack Obama and economics. The term describes the economic philosophy of Obama. His economic platform calls for revitalizing the economy after the financial crisis and for redistribution of wealth. Obama's economic ideas include investment in education, healthcare and the sciences, lower tax rates for companies that meet certain criteria (healthcare, U.S. workforce and headquarters), and higher taxes to high-income families in the Top 2% income bracket.
