Per Diem means daily, it is a Latin phrase for "per day". The term refers to a specific amount of money that can be used for daily employee expenses or reimbursements. An organization allows an individual, often an employee, to spend this amount per day to cover living and traveling expenses in connection with work, or pays it for completing a task.
