Pro Bono

Pro Bono Definition

Pro Bono means "for the public good". The term comes form the Latin phrase “Pro bono publico” and is used to describe professional, especially legal work done without compensation for the public good. Pro bono work is undertaken voluntarily, but unlike traditional volunteerism, it uses the specific skills of professionals to donate public services without payment.
