Secured Note Definition

Secured Note represents an agreement on lending and borrowing money at a given interest rate. It states the amount, the interest rate, and the time until the loan is due. The note can include additional terms in order to decrease the default risk, for example a collateral, the right of the lender to take certain assets of the borrower if the borrower is not able to repay the loan.
