Selling Into Strength Definition
Selling Into Strength is a standard trading practice. Using this strategy the asset is sold when its price is still rising but the trend is expected to reverse. This is a proactive trading strategy followed by many traders. Opposite of the strategy is "buying into weakness". In both practices the trader does not wait for confirmation of a change in price movement, he reacts to the market before a reversal is confirmed. This allows a greater margin of safety.
