Terminal Value

Terminal Value Definition

Terminal Value means the value of an investment or a company at the end of a period, taking into account a specified rate of interest over the period. Calculation method of terminal value is the same as that for compound interest: the principal (P) is multiplied by interest rate (r) calculated for the given period of time (t): TV=P*(1+r)t.
