Torpedo Stock

Torpedo Stock Definition

Torpedo Stock describes a stock that is declining in value very fast with no chance to foreseeable reversal. A company's stock can turn a into a torpedo stock when its underlying fundamentals change very quickly, or its earnings fall with no end in sight, and the firm is not taking appropriate steps to change course. This may cause many shareholders to sell their stock for whatever they can receive.
