TSR Definition

TSR (or Total Shareholder Return is a rate that indicates the total amount returned to investors during a period On the stock market it reflects the total return of a stock to a shareholder including the share price appreciation and the dividends. TSR compares the performance of different stocks over time. The absolute value of the rate varies with stock markets but its relative position shows the overall performance relative to a reference group.
