Upper Class Definition
This socioeconomic term refers to the individuals in the top class of the economic hierarchy. Upper class individuals reside above the working and middle classes. They have a greater amount of disposable income and often exert greater political and social power in society. Although the upper class makes up a small portion of society, they control a large amount of its wealth.
