The Bank Routing Number is used in the United States, while IBAN is used in 28 other countries.

The other difference is that the Routing Number specifies only the bank of the account. This number usually precedes the account number. IBAN (International bank account number) is used when transferring funds internationally. It identifies the country, the account holder's bank and the account number itself.

What is different between ABA number and IBAN number?, would it be right, if the ABA number used instead of IBAN for international transfer?
