Does anybody know the actual formula that is used to compute the 'Yield from Issue Date'?

The 'Savings Bond Wizard' program from TreasuryDirect has a yield column showing the Yield From Issue Date as a percentage. I would like to know the actual formula used to come up with these percentages. Thanks!
