International finance helps companies engage in cross-border business transactions. Companies are increasingly accessing global markets. Firms dealing with export and import need foreign currencies to pay for goods or services. Many companies and financial institutions borrow funds form foreigner lenders. Governments are also engaged in multinational financial activities in order to use international financing tools to meet their operating needs.
